What's this?
The Plumbers are gearing up for a huge 2007, bringing their uniquely creative Kiwi gumbo to The Wellington Project and several others. To celebrate, we've released a limited edition set of Plumbers Postcards in time for Christmas - six original pieces including the renowned 'Voodoo Twostep' and 'Unblock your dream pipes' – and are giving them away free to friends, audiences and fans across New Zealand.
Who are you?
Think of us as the heating engineers of the Apocalypse. The Plumbers are two fictional characters, backed by a pair of all-too-real writers and designers, who woke up one day and thought “Let's be magicians. Real magicians, of history and downbeats and sex and words and magick. And we'll do it like tradesmen, the real thing - get in and get your hands dirty.'
The resulting words, images, and performances are one-of-a-kind Kiwi magic.
What's the story and why should I care?

A great story – experienced writers who fought their way out of South Auckland into highly successful careers, finally decided to follow their own instincts, and ended up in unique, unexpected territory
